CARAMEL
Caramel, aka "Cara," is a now mellow and affectionate Palomino Appaloosa filly born to Tessa, a PMU rescue, on April 30, 2008. She's a sometimes wonderfully silly and irreverent mare, partial to long naps in the sun.
Although young, Cara's sight has deteriorated with a form of blindness not uncommon to Appaloosas. Now nearly blind, she remains sweet and gentle. You may see her walk into fence posts, yet she can spot a friend and a smiling face from across the pasture and she is as playful as ever, trusting her feet and her horse sense.
