Welcome

Where Time Melts, Perspective Expands, Connection is Restored

Reconnecting our world, one horse + one human at a time

Are you called to a more meaningful life? Do you desire to lead with more heart? Create from greater depth? Strengthen your voice? Dust off your dreams? Does the natural world speak to you? Do you yearn to still time and reset your compass?

At Flag Ranch, we invite people to come home. To rest. To rediscover themselves, their purpose and their creativity. To heal. To reconnect with their inherent bond to nature and to rediscover the miracle of the natural world. To learn to live, lead and communicate the horses’ way. This is how we will change the current course of our planet, for all of us, one human at a time. And we have no time to waste.

Today we get places faster. We do things more quickly. Yet we are not necessarily healthier and happier. Time outside. Time with animals. These are key factors in creating a vibrant life.

Come spend some time with us to renew, create and explore with our very special horses who have each lived their own unique story of transformation.

Kimberly + Flag

Catalyzed by the deep and ancient mutuality between horses and people, Flag Ranch was created by two retired racehorses – Kimberly Carlisle, a Stanford swimming Olympian, and Flag, a Northern California Standardbred harness racer.

Flag came into Kimberly’s life at a tender and transitional time. Getting to know Flag helped Kimberly realize a dream that was surfacing: to create a place for horses and people to collaborate and learn. Where we can observe, understand and embody the horses’ many intelligences, and build our lives, teams and societies the way they build theirs.

We welcome you to our beautiful home in the rolling, oak-dotted hills of Paso Robles, surrounded by vineyards, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California’s gorgeous central coast.
