This experience is designed for folks who wish to be guided in connecting with horses in an authentic and deep way. Led by Deborah Caldwell, you will gain understanding and respect for the dynamics of the herd, learn to move with intention among them, to recognize horses that choose to forego contact, and explore emotions that arise when surrounded by these magnificent creatures.
A herd is a “collective consciousness'“ and horses are preyed upon in the wild, which makes them unique from other animals we generally encounter. Your insight and confidence will also enhance their experience.
We will start our day with a brief, seated, yoga-nidra practice, connecting with our breath and body to feel centered, relaxed, and ready to greet the herd.
Sessions will take place from 9 to 11 am on the first and third Sundays of the month through November.
You may attend as few or as many sessions as you like. Deborah is donating her time to lead these. We don’t want price to be a barrier, but we do suggest a $40 per person gift to the horses. You can drop cash in our gift box or make your gift via any page of this website.
Deborah is a lifelong equestrian, who, many years ago, shifted her passion to nurturing natural happy horses after the psychological breakdown of her self-trained high-level horse. She is also a Kinesiologist with a background in somatic therapies and restorative bodywork based in Atascadero.
